Use previously sent emails as templates

While WithWine doesn't have (and never will have) all the capabilities of dedicated emailing packages like Mailchimp, 95% of our clients have decided "it sends emails just fine, which is what I need it to do".

(Side note: We do integrate with Mailchimp and can integrate with any other email platform if required)

But a frustration for many has been that they'd spend an amount of time curating an email to send to Group A, but want to send the same email with a few minor tweaks to Group B... without re-doing everything.

That is what this update solves.

In both the Customers and Club Members email composer there is this new button:

Which is located here:

Clicking on this brings up a modal in which you can find a Draft or previously Sent email that you'd like to re-use as a template for a new email:

You can Preview an email to make sure you're picking the correct one within that modal:

And when you Select the one you want, it will copy everything (including HTML) into a new Draft that you can edit / tweak:

Pro Trip:

With this new capability, it means that if you have a template/s you use repeatedly, you can save them within WithWine and bring them up whenever you need them.

Eg. if you have a standard "Welcome to the wine club" email you send out to all new members once a week, you can simply:

1. Craft up your template
2. Give it a subject so it's easy to find - eg. ***Welcome Email 1***
3. Save as Draft
4. And now that template can stay in WithWine as a Draft that gets copied every time you want to send the Welcome Email.
